MICRO-WELL - Coastal areas of Suffolk have a thin layer of topsoil, then a thick layer of sand overlaying a bed of clay. This creates a massive natural underground water storage tank. All you need to do is to tap into it and slowly extract the water that keeps getting topped up every time it rains. The average garden plot should hold about 1 Million litres of water! It takes about a year for rain to completely replace this water, and if you don't use it then it just slowly leaks away into rivers, streams and the sea.

Its there for you to use, safely, cheaply, easily, conveniently, no permission, no license, no hosepipe bans, no economising on water, more than you can use.

Micro-Well is a new and revolutionary ground water extraction system

designed and built in Felixstowe in Suffolk. We are initially looking to offer

Micro-Well for installation in East Anglia where the geology is optimum.

Micro-Well is for home and small business use and can supply over 1000 litres

of clean water per day for your garden, fish pond, allotment etc. etc.

Additional Filtration and UV Sterilisation enables it to be used for domestic

non-drinking water, topping up swimming pools etc.

1000 litres of mains water costs approx £3.00, the

average family of four uses approximately 600 litres

of water per day costing £1.80 per day. A hosepipe on

for an hour can use nearly as much again .

A standard garden irrigation Micro-well system costs

less than £500 fully installed. It can deliver over 1000

litres of water per day 365 days a year saving over £1000.

So a Micro-Well installation can pay for itself in less than

a year!

Left is the original Micro-Well in my front garden. I

added the wooden casing, water butt and classic pump

for looks. Alternatively Micro-Well can be supplied in

a plastic case and completely buried.

To give you a Micro-Well in your garden we drill into the soil in your chosen place using

specialist tools designed specifically to allow us to quickly and safely drill down up to

6 metres and test for water. If water is present – and it should be given that we have had

units operating in different parts of Suffolk for over 9 months – then we enlarge the hole

using power tools. We then insert the three well tubes into the hole, fit the Micro-Well

pump on top and connect it to the electric supply or a solar panel. The special patent

applied for low energy pump then slowly extracts water from the soil below the water

table so that you can then re-use it and re re-use it and re-use it. The whole installation

can be completed in one day with no mess and minimal disruption.

Micro-Well is gauranteed for 10,000 hours of operation (Parts & Labour)

from the date of installation, this should deliver over 500,000 litres of water.

If the micro well is used continuously an annual service contract is available

to refurbish the pump and extend the gaurantee for a further 10,000

hours.
